Registration Begins for Candidates of Elections for Specialized Working Groups of Higher Education Planning, Ministry of Science

Registration for candidates in the elections of specialized working groups for higher education planning of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology has begun.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, the text sent by the Vice-Chancellor for Education and Graduate Studies of Lorestan University is as follows:
Esteemed faculty members are informed that the specialized working groups for higher education planning are important and effective structures in the country's education system, whose task is to review curriculum programs, provide scientific and specialized suggestions, analyze educational challenges, and revise and update programs based on scientific, technological, and social needs.
These working groups, by utilizing the opinions of university specialists, play an important role in improving the quality of educational programs and guiding macro-policies of higher education, and the results of their reviews are used in the decision-making of the Supreme Council for Planning of the Ministry of Science.
In this regard, and according to the notification of the "Guidelines for the Selection of Members of Specialized Working Groups for Higher Education Planning" by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, the registration process for candidates in the elections of these working groups has begun.

According to the guidelines, candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as a full-time faculty member.
The elections will be held virtually, and all faculty members whose information is registered and confirmed in the Higher Education System (Saa) are eligible to vote and register for the elections.
Considering the importance of the participation of faculty members in strengthening, updating, and streamlining the country's educational programs, esteemed colleagues are invited to actively participate in this process.
Important Dates:
- Deadline for candidate registration: Maximum until December 20, 1404
- Announcement and introduction of candidates: January 1 to 7 of the current year.
- Holding elections: January 8 to 10.
